The Australian Dream

In exactly a month's time, I will board an airplane that will bring me to Sydney, where I am going to spend half a year as an au-pair with a lovely family. The family I am going to stay with exists of four members: parents Margaret and Brett with six year old William and three year old Isabella.

Working as an au-pair will bring great responsibilities, but also great fun and I believe that it will have the time of my life. Living on the other side of the world, with another family is going to be extremely different from the life experience I have here in the Netherlands. I'll be surrounded by different people in a different environment and I am really looking forward to experience this whole new world.

In contrast to my last journey to France I will write my blogs in English, so it will be understandable in both Australia and Holland. Another difference is, that I will actually try my hardest to find the time to keep this blog up, instead of stopping after one failing post. I hope to have new stories and the most beautiful pictures for you soon after my departure. I can't wait.
